1. Overview

Links on Link ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website linksonlink.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information: name and email address when you create an account. Credentials are managed by our authentication provider.
• Billing information: payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We do not store raw card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, clicks on shortened links, and device/browser information collected automatically.
• Link analytics: when visitors click your short links we log the IP address (used to derive approximate geographic location), referrer, device type, browser, OS, UTM parameters, and timestamp. This data powers your analytics dashboard.
• Communications: any messages you send us via email or our contact form.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service. When you first visit our marketing site you will be shown a cookie consent banner. Non-essential tracking tools are only loaded after you give consent.

When you create an account and log in to the application, we use first-party analytics cookies to link your browsing activity across our subdomains (for example, from the marketing site to the application). This allows us to understand how visitors discover and use the Service. By creating an account you consent to these functional analytics cookies as described below.

The following tools may set cookies or collect browsing data:

You can change your cookie preference at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in our site footer. Essential storage (such as theme preference) cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and send billing communications.
• To respond to support requests and inquiries.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To send product updates, if you have opted in to marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).
• To generate aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that help us understand how the platform is used.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with third-party service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

• Authentication provider: manages user credentials and sessions on our behalf.
• Payment processor: handles billing and subscription management. Card data never touches our servers.
• Cloud infrastructure providers: hosting, storage, content delivery, and database services.
• Email delivery provider: sends transactional emails such as invitations and billing receipts.
• Analytics tools: as described in section 3, subject to your consent where required.

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Links on Link, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Analytics data generated by link clicks is retained for a reasonable period to support your dashboards and may be deleted or aggregated over time.

You can delete your account yourself under Settings, then Profile, in the dashboard. The account is deleted seven days after you ask, and until then you can sign in and keep it. During those seven days your pages stay up but take no new bookings or sales, and your subscription stops renewing when you ask. After the seven days we delete your sign-in and the pages, links, products, uploaded files, form submissions, subscriber lists and click statistics tied to the account. If other people work in a workspace you own, or customers hold upcoming bookings with you, you need to settle those first.

At the same time we take the email address on your account off our mailing list, delete your billing customer record at Stripe, and close your payout account where Stripe allows it. We remove your name and email address from your profile in our product analytics. The usage events already recorded there stay, and some of them, such as sign-up and sign-in events, carry your name and email address.

Records of payments, orders, bookings and refunds are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and Stripe keeps its own records of payments under its own policy. To have the product analytics events that carry your name and email address removed as well, email us at the address below and we will do it within 30 days.

You can download a copy of your data as one JSON file under Settings, then Profile, at any time. It holds your links, pages, products, sales, bookings, form submissions and settings. You can also download your links and form submissions as CSV files, and your analytics as a CSV or PDF file on the Pro and Business plans. For a copy of anything else we hold about you, email us and we will send it within 30 days.

7. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), credential management delegated to a dedicated authentication provider, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted primarily in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
• Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection / Restriction: object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent: opt out of non-essential cookies at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in our site footer.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable under local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
